NEET UG 2023 Not Postponed, NTA Confirms Exam Will be Held on May 4th 2023.

Students and parents all across have been demanding for postponement of NEET-UG 2023 citing the CBSE Board Examination that gives less time for NEET preparation. Recent Changes in Dress Code for NEET 2023 Made by NTA: Check Male & Female Candidate’s Dress Code

(1) Face masks and gloves are made mandatory and all the candidates must wear them throughout the examination.
(2) Heavy jewellery, watches and other wearable devices are not permitted in the exam hall.
(3) Candidates must not wear full-sleeved, light-coloured clothes at the exam centre. This is applicable to both Male/ Female candidates.
(4) NEET aspirants must not wear clothes with big buttons to the exam hall.
(5) Shoes, Bellies, Sunglasses, Wallets and handbags must not be carried to the examination hall. Slippers and sandals with low heels are permitted.
(6) Boys are not allowed to wear Kurta Pyjamas and Girls are not allowed to wear Sarees to the exam hall.

NEET Admit Card 2023, Hall Ticket Release Date & Time

NEET Admit Card 2022 – The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be releasing NEET Admit Card 2022 for the NEET UG 2022 tentatively by 11th April 2023. The students who have their NEET 2023 exam on 4th May 2023 (Sunday) must download their NEET Admit Card 2023 much before the exam date from the direct link provided in the article which will be updated once the NEET Admit Card is released. The exam will be held in pen & paper mode in a single shift (2 to 5 pm) and details including venue, the reporting time will be dictated on the candidate’s respective NEET Admit Card 2023.

Documents Required at NEET 2023 Exam Center.

When the candidates visit the examination center on the day of the exam, they will be asked to carry certain documents along with them. The candidates will be prohibited to enter the exam hall if they fail to bring the required documents. Some of the important ones are mentioned below:

  • One passport size photograph (same as the one uploaded in the application form) will be required for the attendance sheet.
  • A valid and original identity proof issued by the government (PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ 12th Class Board Admits or Registration Card/ Passport/ Aadhar Card/ EAadhar/ Ration Card etc)
  • PwD certificate (if applicable)
  • One postcard size (4”6”) color photograph with white background, pasted in Proforma (download it along with the admit card)

How to Choose the NEET 2023 Exam Centers?

All the candidates are advised to follow the below-mentioned process while choosing the NEET 2023 Exam Centres:

  • Once the students login to their NEET 2023 account, they need to provide detailed information related to their choice of preferences.
  • The booking slots for online exams are dependent upon a first come first serve basis. There are eight different settings for online exams.
  • The choice of exam cities will be displayed based on the permanent or present address mentioned by the candidate.
  • They can choose up to 4 preferences for the exam centers.
  • The candidates will be offered the centers among any of the 4 preferences, changing it during the NEET form correction will not guarantee a specific center.
  • You are advised to book your slots as soon as possible. Kindly note it down that queries related to the same matter will not be entertained.
  • The aspirants from Assam, Meghalaya, Jammu and Kashmir should bring their Aadhaar Card number to the exam centre. Otherwise they must choose the exam centres only within their state respectively.
  • NEET 2023 exam centres will be allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis.
